Take a tour of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Grounds. The beautifully
landscaped grounds and plantings are lovingly tended by members
of the St. Francis Guild.
St. Stephen's was established in 1944. We became a full
parish in 1951 and moved into this stone covered church on Pentecost.
St. Stephen's church sits on 4.3 acres on a hill overlooking the central
part of Oak Ridge.
The church is built of Tennessee Crab Orchard stone with a slate roof.
The landscaping make this one of the prettiest spots in Oak Ridge.
St. Francis Guild meets every Saturday morning when the temperature
is above 60 degrees.
A new addition now houses the Church Offices. It also provides a covered entrance, and handicapped access to our new elevator.
